Requirement: The training will be delivered to Credit Relationships Managers (RMs) so that they are able to understand the trade finance product requirements of Indian corporates. The RMs will use this knowledge to engage with clients, generate leads and target quick closure of transactions.
Please check below for detailed structure expected for the training:
Module 1: Overview of trade finance and overview of swift
– Establishing RMA i.e. initiating RMA request, accepting RMA request etc.
Module 2: Swift Messaging for Trade finance
– Understanding swift message types (Complete MT 7 series)
– Message formatting and validation
– Downloading all incoming MT7 series messages
– Searching of MT7 series messages
– Auto advising of messages to set email ids
Module 3: L/C Advising
– Advising of MT700 as MT710 without having to re-type the entire message
– Advising of MT710 as MT710
– Advising of MT760 as a MT760
Module 4: Risk checks and controls to avoid operational risk while advising trade instruments
Module 5: Trade finance operations
– Settlement of advising charges
Module 6: Compliance and regulatory
– Sanctions and embargoes
– Anti-money laundering and
– Know your customer (KYC)
Qualification:
1. Should have had at least 15 years of experience as a Trade Finance Professional with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the processes, practice, UCP-600, SWIFT formats, workflow and other related areas..
2. The professional should have been a practitioner of the topic who is actively managing the teams with functional clients.
3. Trainer with relevant professional certifications preferred.
4. Prior experience in documentation, good communication skills and an attention to detail.
5. The domain expert should be adept at Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as the submissions will be required in soft copy as per template shared.
6. Good quality English.
