Requirement: Client bank executives are seeking to understand best practices in the Gold Loan Product domain and this training will ensure their awareness of product features, processes and policy decisions for the Gold Loan Product.

Course coverage should include:

1. Product Specifications

2. Operations

3. Valuation

4. Sales Techniques

The tentative program structure is as provided below. Trainer’s input on restructuring of the Program is welcome.

Orientation & Industry Overview

1. Overview of the Indian gold loan market
2. Session on regulatory landscape and pricing models

Session 2:

1. Exposure Visit & Field Learning if possible
2. Branch-level visit (urban and semi-urban)
3. Observing customer lifecycle: from appraisal to disbursal
4. Discussions with front-line staff and regional managers

Session 3: Operational & Strategic Insights

1. Sessions on gold valuation, collateral management & fraud prevention
2. Technology integration in gold loan processes

Qualification:

– Should have had at least 20 years of experience in training and facilitation delivery to senior management.

– Should have worked with the best in class organisations providing Gold Loan product across the country. E.g. Muthoot, Mannapuram, IIFL, etc.

– Should have a strong inclination towards writing, describing use cases and creating questions, tests and cases for previous organisation/s.

– Domain Expert with professional certifications relevant to the function will be welcome e.g. CAIIB with the subject of Bank Management.

– Prior experience in documentation, good communication skills and an attention to detail.

– Good quality English.
